Do you constantly check your dates out for marriage potential?

Chances are you’re taking dating way too seriously.  Once you date the desperation out of dating, your chances of finding true love will skyrocket.  This bestselling dating book has sold more than 85,000 copies around the world, and was translated into five languages.   It was the precursor to such game-changing dating books as Think Like a Man, Act Like a Woman and He’s Just Not That Into You.

I listed something similar with the career dreams and I’ve also done none of mine. But being a mom is far better than any of those!
And I’m with you on the lonely thing. We’ve been living in TX for a year now and I still haven’t made any real friendships. Yeah, I know a few other moms, but no one that I really get along with and can invest time into a relationship with. It’s really taking a toll on my soul at this point. But I’m willing to stick it out. I just need to be more intentional about it … I love it!

I agree that motherhood trumps all! Don’t give up on making new friendships, even if it has been a year since you moved. I suggest getting involved in an activity that you are truly passionate about or joining a single parents group. Doing something you love helps form tighter bonds. Let me know how things are going!
